The acetylene gas (C2H2) is considered the most efficient fuel when it comes  to achieve high levels of heating with low heat loss. Acetylene is a colorless gas, lighter than air and flammable.

The advantages of acetylene:

– High quality cuts: faster and more accurate;

– Fast start with minimum consumption of oxygen;

– The only gas that can be used to weld steel.

Acetylene gas is stored in low pressure cylinders and dissolved in acetone.
